DRO-PC

The innovative DigiBall digital readout system (DRO) uses any ordinary PC with USB ports, connected via a DigiBall Decoder to either DigiBall or Newall™ DRO linear encoders on any machine tool, to give you the very latest DRO technology that will help make you more productive and profitable.

Imagine a DRO system on a lathe, or mill, that displays the working drawing of what you are machining - and where the axis readings can be as large as the screen that you choose to use.

Where individual axis readings can be instantly changed "on-the-fly" from mm to inches; absolute to incremental; radius to diameter; any axis summed with any other axis; any axis value transferred to a calculator – mathematically manipulated - and then returned to the display; previously changed axis values undone at any subsequent time; displayed axis values held for tool changes; and axis resolution altered to suit your lathe, mill or the job.

Where the CAD drawing can be moved, zoomed, rotated or flipped so that it lines up to the machine's cutter path on the component.

To add computer-aided accuracy to your centre lathe or turret mill - as well as, having all the other benefits of a PC-based DRO - you need only the DigiBall Decoder. Then plug in DigiBall linear encoders (or your existing Newall Spherosyn™ or Microsyn™ encoders) and connect the Decoder to a spare USB port on the PC.

Take just a few minutes to learn the simple PC2DRO+™ program - then start cutting metal on those lathes, mills, grinders and borers more profitably.

Why not DOWNLOAD the Demo program either at your office, or home, and see for yourself how easy they are to learn and use?
